It's comparatively far from sightseeing center (10-15 mins walk) and see-side (20-25 mins walk). No coffee machine.

Location is good, close to the center in a calm/quiet street. The room has a small kitchen with everything you need, there is also a washing machine available. The hotel was renovated recently, so everything is new. Staff was very helpful, they can help you to arrange some tours in the city. We stayed there with a small child and everything was great! We booked a standard room, but due to renovation they gave us a Suite for the same price - nice surprise! Highly recommended. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel (you need to pay an extra fee) so I cannot comment on this. In addition, it is easy to park our car close to the hotel.

Our room was on the 4th floor, and there is no elevator. It was not a problem for us, but you should keep this in mind (or check the availability of a room in the 2nd floor).

We stayed in 'Klumba' for 1 night with my sister and child. The hotel has evidently been created with love and care. It's cosy and at the same time elegant, very quiet and located perfectly for those who value silence - within the walking distance from the center of the city but away from noisy and crowded places. We booked Junior Suite and that's been a very good choice for triple accomodation. The room is spacious, comfortable and we liked the design and furniture very much. The spacious balcony overlooks the small quiet inner yard. Actually one could live there for a long time feeling at home as there are all the facilities in the room including small kitchen, washing machine, fridge, dvd... The bed and the sofa are both very comfortable for sleeping. We liked as well the availability of straight entrance to the stairs leading to our room right from the inner yard. The staff was pretty courteous and helpful. I would recommend you breakfasts, which guests can order to their rooms - the meal is pretty good and be aware that the portions are really generous!

The only one thing - there is no elevator in the three-floored hotel. And as far as I know the best rooms of the hotel are situated on the top floor. Just mark it if you were going to come to Odessa with a heavy luggage or if your health conditions prevented you from walking up and down the stairs while some flights of stairs are really steep.

Tastefully decorated in muted tones (although in some cases with cheap materials that are already deteriorating). The location is excellent in the downtown area but away from the busier streets. Fantastic hot water pressure in the shower.

The sound proofing is not good. Every wall seems hollow. One can hear everyone clomp up the uncarpeted stairs; loud voices in the hallway; and the elephant family that will stay above you. The toilet was not clean when I arrived and it was not cleaned during my stay. I paid cash and the member of staff was astounded that I wanted a receipt...which could only be produced hand-written in Ukrainian. They seem to be very focused on the computer at the front desk (even to the point of ignoring guests standing waiting to be served in front of them) so one would think they could rig it to produce receipts for guests.No tourist information or maps...could not give information on bus to airport. I was not pleased with the envelope placed on the bedside table with "tips" hand written on it in 3 lanuguages. I want to give a tip, I'll do so without a begging letter.
